Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a noteworthy reduction in the price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) from N1,200/litre to N1,000/litre, according to a statement by its spokesperson, Nduka Chiejina, released on Tuesday.
The statement highlights that this reduction follows a previous reduction from N1,600/litre to N1,200/litre, representing a 30% decrease in the market price. The move is expected to have a positive impact on the economy and contribute to reducing the country’s high inflation rate.
