Preliminary findings revealed that the victims, both bearing marks of violence and gunshot injuries, were murdered and left in a black Corolla car with the Lagos registration plate AAA 621 EU. The bodies have been deposited in a morgue, and an investigation is underway to uncover the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
