The scam, advertised as “N200,000 Palliative Loan By the Senate,” employs deceptive tactics, including the use of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s logo, to lure unsuspecting individuals. The Senate’s spokesperson, Hon Eseme Eyiboh, clarified that neither the Senate nor Akpabio are involved in any loan programs or palliatives, urging the public to disregard such scams and report any suspicious activities. The public is advised to be vigilant against these fraudulent activities.
