President Tinubu Addresses Allegations and Security Concerns

Speaking during a Ramadan dinner hosted for the Senate leadership at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Tinubu emphasized his confidence in the integrity of the budget process and thanked the lawmakers for their diligent handling of the budget.

Addressing concerns over the recent killing of soldiers in Delta State, Tinubu pledged unwavering support for the military and vowed that those responsible for the attack would face justice. He emphasized the importance of safeguarding the nation’s security infrastructure and affirmed his administration’s commitment to combating security threats across the country.

Tinubu expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic prospects, noting improvements in revenue generation and anticipating a turnaround in the nation’s economic fortunes. He urged prudent financial management to navigate through current economic challenges and assured Nigerians that better days are ahead.

In response to Tinubu’s remarks, the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, expressed gratitude for the President’s hospitality and reiterated the National Assembly’s commitment to collaboration and productive governance. Akpabio emphasized the importance of cooperation between the executive and legislative branches for the success of the administration.
