Ooni of Ife and Wife Name Newborn Twins in Joyous Ceremony

Eight days following the birth of their twins, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his third wife, Olori Tobi Phillips, have joyfully named their newborns. The couple, in a heartwarming ceremony, christened their bundles of joy with meaningful names.

The girl, Taiwo, was named Adesewa, Oreade, Oluwatamilore, Ejide Ogunwusi, while the boy, Kehinde, was christened Adeshina, Oreade, Ejide, Oluwasemilore Ogunwusi. A touching video shared by Kemi Ashefon on Instagram captured the moment Olori Phillips proudly announced the names of the twins.

The announcement comes shortly after the Ooni of Ife shared the delightful news of the twins’ birth on his Instagram page last week. The naming ceremony marks a special milestone for the royal family, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter filled with love, joy, and blessings.
