Oba of Benin Prays for Healing of Nigeria During Easter Celebrations

 

In a message of felicitation, signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, has called upon God and his ancestors to bring healing to Nigeria during the Easter celebrations.

The statement emphasizes the Oba’s plea for divine intervention and urges Christians to pray fervently for forgiveness of sins and for the healing of the nation. Ewuare II also encourages Christians to embody the virtues of Christ in their daily lives and to draw strength from the message of hope provided by Jesus’s sacrifice.

The Federal Government has declared Friday, March 29, and Monday, April 1, 2024, as public holidays for Christians to celebrate Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.
