NSCDC Apprehends Intruder Disguised as Woman in Kano State

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State have apprehended Muhammad Munzali of Kaura Gidan Damo, Shanono Local Government Area, following a suspicious intrusion into the female hostel of Skyline University Nigeria.

The NSCDC, deployed under the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Department, made the arrest around 10 pm on Wednesday night. Public Relations Officer Ibrahim Abdullahi confirmed the incident, disclosing that Munzali had disguised himself in women’s clothing and was found in possession of local charms.

Investigations are underway to determine the motives behind Munzali’s intrusion into the private university’s premises, situated along Sardauna Crescent, Nassarawa GRA, Kano State.

Mohammed Falala, the NSCDC Kano Command State Commandant, emphasized the importance of heightened vigilance during a recent meeting with the institution’s management. He urged officers and men of the command to bolster surveillance efforts around both public and private educational facilities, aiming to thwart potential threats posed by criminal elements.

This incident echoes a similar occurrence in 2021, where an unidentified individual disguised as a woman infiltrated the female hostel of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The intruder was subsequently apprehended and stripped by vigilant students, as reported by PUNCH Online.
