The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has dismissed reports circulating on Wednesday alleging a downward review of fuel prices as unfounded.
Reacting to the speculations, NNPCL’s Chief Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, clarified that there had been no adjustment to the pump prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel) at its retail stations nationwide.
In a statement addressed to journalists, Soneye urged the public to disregard such reports, emphasizing that they were false.
The statement emphasized NNPC Ltd’s commitment to maintaining the current sufficiency in petroleum products supply across all its retail stations in the country.
