The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has responded to concerns regarding the recent scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol. According to NNPCL, the scarcity observed in certain regions of the country was due to logistical challenges, which have since been resolved.
In a statement released by Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., on Thursday, the company emphasized that there are no imminent changes to petroleum product prices. Soneye reassured Nigerians of an abundant supply of petroleum products nationwide, urging citizens to refrain from panic buying.
