Krystyna Pyszkova of Czech Republic Wins Miss World 2024 Title

Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic has been crowned Miss World 2024 during a glamorous event in India, edging out contestants from around the world. Pyszkova’s victory marks the second time a representative from the Czech Republic has claimed the Miss World crown, following Tatana Kucharova’s win in 2006.

Expressing her astonishment at winning the prestigious title, Pyszkova emphasized her commitment to her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project, which focuses on providing quality education for children. She pledged to utilize her platform as Miss World to amplify awareness for this cause and continue her advocacy work.

Pyszkova, a Czech model pursuing degrees in law and business administration, is the founder of the Krystyna Pyszko Foundation. Fluent in multiple languages, she advocates for sustainable development through education and has actively volunteered to support underprivileged children, including opening an English school in Tanzania.

The 71st Miss World pageant, hosted in India after 28 years, featured contestants from 112 countries and took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines served as hosts for the event.
