Kano State Governor Nominates Mustapha Kwankwaso and Others as Commissioners

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf, has put forward the nomination of Mustapha Kwankwaso, the son of Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, as a commissioner. Mustapha Kwankwaso, previously a presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the 2023 general election, has been selected to serve in this capacity.

In addition to Mustapha Kwankwaso, the governor has also nominated Adamu Kibiya, a former Commissioner for Land who was suspended due to derogatory remarks made about tribunal judges. The nomination of Adamu Kibiya signals a return to public service following his suspension.

Furthermore, the list of commissioner-nominees includes Usman Aliyu and Abduljabbar Garko. These individuals have been identified by the governor as suitable candidates for appointment to important positions within the state government.
