K1 De Ultimate Cancels Birthday Carnival, Urges Support for Less Privileged

Renowned Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has announced the cancellation of his annual birthday carnival for his 67th birthday on March 3. Instead, he has urged his family and friends to use the occasion to reach out to the less privileged in society.

In a statement issued on Thursday, K1 expressed his decision to forego the celebratory event, citing the prevailing economic challenges facing the country. He emphasized the need to prioritize the welfare of those struggling to meet their basic needs amidst the current economic situation.

K1 expressed gratitude for the support and celebrations he has received from friends, associates, and fans over the years. However, he noted the stark contrast between the joyous occasion of his birthday and the harsh realities confronting many Nigerians, particularly regarding food insecurity and financial hardship.

Acknowledging the efforts of the government to address the country’s challenges, K1 underscored the importance of collective action in supporting those in need during these trying times. He called upon his loved ones to redirect their resources towards assisting the less fortunate, emphasizing the significance of sharing blessings with others in times of adversity.

The musician expressed confidence that God would reward the generosity and compassion of those who choose to lend a helping hand to their fellow citizens. He extended heartfelt appreciation to all who have supported him and pledged to continue appreciating their kindness for as long as he lives.
