Fireboy DML Clarifies: No Competition Exists Within YBNL Nation

Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML has quashed rumors of rivalry between him and fellow label mate Asake within the confines of YBNL Nation. Addressing speculations during an interview with Max FM, Lagos, the ‘Peru’ hitmaker emphasized the absence of competition within the renowned record label led by ace rapper Olamide.

“I don’t think there is any competition in YBNL because everyone is on a different lane. We could all drop our songs one week from each other and nobody would be angry. There’s genuine love. There’s genuine brotherhood among us,” Fireboy asserted, shedding light on the harmonious dynamic shared among the artists.

Recounting a poignant moment, Fireboy revealed, “There was a day Olamide and Asake helped loosen my hair. That moment was a very solemn moment for me. There is no competition in YBNL.”
