Former Deputy Speaker Affirms Chief Nyesom Wike’s Commitment to Rivers State Development

Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Prince Chibudom Nwuche, has lauded the dedication of Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of Federal Capital Territory, towards the development of Rivers State. Speaking during a gathering of key political stakeholders in Ekpeye Kingdom, Nwuche emphasized the importance of unwavering support for Wike’s vision for the state.

Nwuche urged politicians in Rivers State to maintain consistency in their backing of Wike, highlighting the significant contributions he has made to the region’s progress. Notably, Nwuche pointed out several landmark projects undertaken by Wike in Ekpeye land, including the reconstruction and dualization of vital road networks by reputable construction firms like Julius Berger and Setraco.

He underscored Wike’s commitment to infrastructure development, citing projects such as the construction of roads and bridges, the establishment of educational institutions, and ongoing initiatives aimed at empowering the people of Rivers State. Nwuche also noted that Wike’s administration ensured the completion of projects initiated by previous administrations, emphasizing continuity and progress in governance.
