Former Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika, along with his brother Ahmad Sirika, entered a not guilty plea on Thursday in response to allegations of contract fraud amounting to N19.4 billion.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Hadi Sirika, his brother, and Abubakar’s company, Enginos Nigeria Limited, on a revised 10-count charge. The accusations center on Sirika allegedly exploiting his position to award lucrative contracts to Enginos Nigeria Limited, owned by his brother.
All parties involved have denied the charges.
