APC Chieftain Calls for Patience and Optimism in President Tinubu’s Administration

Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has urged Nigerians to remain patient and optimistic regarding the administration of President Bola Tinubu. Describing Tinubu as a committed democrat dedicated to fulfilling his electoral promises, Oyintiloye emphasized the need for citizens to persevere through current economic challenges.

Addressing the media in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Oyintiloye acknowledged the hardships faced by Nigerians amidst economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the naira. He reassured the public that these policies, although causing discomfort in the short term, are essential for building a strong foundation for Nigeria’s prosperity.

Asserting President Tinubu’s good intentions, Oyintiloye emphasized that the government’s economic interventions are aimed at revitalizing the nation’s economy. He highlighted key areas of focus, including agriculture, healthcare, education, electricity, and anti-corruption measures, as critical components of the administration’s agenda.

Oyintiloye called for unity among Nigerians, urging opposition leaders to refrain from making divisive statements that could exacerbate tensions. He criticized remarks made by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, regarding the coastal highway initiative, cautioning against rhetoric that undermines national cohesion.

As a member of the defunct APC Presidential Campaign Council, Oyintiloye appealed to all political stakeholders to prioritize the nation’s interests above partisan agendas. He stressed the importance of constructive dialogue and collaboration in driving Nigeria’s progress, emphasizing unity as a prerequisite for achieving collective prosperity.
