Aide to Lagos State Park Chairman Dies in Auto Crash

Akintoye Benson, an aide to the chairman of the Lagos State Park and Garages Management, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has tragically passed away. Benson’s demise follows an auto crash on the Third Mainland Bridge on Thursday night, as seen in a viral video where he was found in a wrecked vehicle.

Confirming his death, a friend of the deceased, Ogunseye Vincent, expressed shock and sadness, describing Benson as a vibrant individual with lofty aspirations and vision. Vincent’s heartfelt tribute on Facebook reflected on the memories shared with Benson and extended condolences to his family.

Until his untimely passing, Benson served as the chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN) Zone H, where he contributed to the transport sector’s development.

Efforts to reach Akinsanya for a comment were unsuccessful as his phone was unreachable at the time of compiling this report.
