In a fiery exchange on the debut episode of ‘Ebuka Turns Up Africa,’ Nollywood actor Zubby Michael emphatically contested Timini Egbuson’s assertion of being the biggest actor in Africa. Egbuson, during a discussion on the show, boasted about his achievements, stating, “I believe I am the best actor in Africa.”
Unconvinced, Zubby Michael countered, declaring himself as the “biggest actor in Africa” and highlighting his extensive 13-year career, awards, and diverse market conquests, including YouTube, DVD, and cinemas. He provocatively remarked, “Your fame ends in Lekki, but I’ve conquered the YouTube market, the DVD market, and now cinemas.”
The debate intensified as Timini interjected, pointing out Zubby’s recurring character portrayal in movies. In response, Zubby justified his position, stating, “It’s not coming from a place of pride, but I can buy Timini.” The heated exchange concluded with Timini expressing his discontent and asserting that Zubby lacked sufficient knowledge about him to make such bold statements.
