Yoruba Nation Youth Group Denounces Alleged Invasion of Oyo Government Secretariat

A group representing Yoruba Nation Youths, both domestically and internationally, has distanced itself from the reported invasion of the Oyo State Government Secretariat by suspected agitators.

In a statement issued by the Yoruba Nation Youth Leader, Prophet Ayodele Ologunloluwa, the group vehemently condemned the attack on the government secretariat, emphasizing that such actions were not aligned with the principles of the Yoruba Nation movement.

Disassociating themselves from the perpetrators, the group clarified, “We don’t know her and we don’t have anything to do with her.” They affirmed their commitment to pursuing the cause of Yoruba Nation self-determination through legitimate and peaceful means, distancing themselves from any acts of violence or vandalism.

Expressing their allegiance to recognized leaders of the Yoruba Nation movement such as Prof Banji Akintoye and Chief Sunday Igboho, the group reiterated their dedication to the non-negotiable quest for Yoruba Nation self-determination.

Addressing concerns about the Fulani menace, the group criticized the lack of understanding among some regarding the gravity of the situation. They emphasized that the Fulani aggression transcended mere climate change factors, attributing it to a broader agenda of political dominance and conquest.

Rejecting any arrangement that perpetuates Nigeria’s current state of insecurity and political instability, the group asserted their stance against continued participation in a system that fails to address systemic challenges and criminal activities effectively.
