Woman Arrested After Controversial Testimony at Dunamis International Gospel Center

Anyim Vera, a member of Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC) whose testimony sparked controversy, has been arrested by the police for a breach of etiquette.

Vera’s detainment by the Nigeria Police Force on Tuesday follows the viral incident where her testimony at the church’s headquarters was interrupted by Senior Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche.

During her testimony, Enenche questioned Vera’s supposed law degree due to her incorrect English, leading to doubts about the authenticity of her story.

Vera claimed to have obtained a BSc in law from the National Open University of Nigeria, prompting Enenche to send her back to her seat, suggesting her testimony was false.

Despite later apologizing to Vera for the interruption, Enenche’s actions drew widespread attention, with Vera subsequently appealing for financial assistance from Nigerians to secure better accommodation, citing safety concerns.

The circumstances surrounding Vera’s arrest by the police have yet to be disclosed, but it appears to be related to the aftermath of her testimony at DIGC.
