Wizkid Claims All His Hits Were Made Without Breaking a Sweat

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has made a bold claim about his effortless approach to making music. In a recently surfaced video, the superstar boasted that he recorded all of his biggest hits, including “Holla At Your Boy,” “Soco,” “Joro,” and “Ojuelegba,” while sitting down.

“All my biggest songs from ‘Holla At Your Boy’ to ‘Soco’, ‘Joro’, ‘Ojuelegba’, I recorded them sitting down,” Wizkid revealed. He emphasized that he doesn’t stress over creating hits and prefers to keep things relaxed in the studio.

Wizkid also expressed his disdain for promoting his music and granting media interviews. “You see promo, I hate doing that sh*t. You know press, I hate doing all that sh*t, bro. I know exactly what the people want,” he stated, highlighting his confidence in understanding his audience.

The “Essence” hitmaker credited his success to a deep connection with his craft, suggesting that the global nature of today’s music industry allows authenticity to shine without the need for excessive promotion.
