Violent Incidents Erupt as Trabzonspor Fans Attack Fenerbahce Players

Chaos erupted at Papara Park in Trabzon as Trabzonspor fans stormed the field and launched violent attacks against Fenerbahce players following Sunday’s Super Lig match. Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya denounced the violence, emphasizing that such behavior has no place in football. “It is never acceptable for violence to take place on football pitches – above all, sport is gentlemanship,” Yerlikaya asserted.
