Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has expressed his frustration over the absence of popular social media personality Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, at the ongoing probe panel set up by the House of Representatives. The panel is investigating allegations of bribery involving officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The House of Representatives had summoned EFCC Chairman, the Comptroller General of the NCS, Bobrisky, and Verydarkman, along with all officers involved in Bobrisky’s prosecution following charges of naira abuse. Despite the summons, Bobrisky was notably absent from the proceedings.
Speaking at the session, Verydarkman voiced his displeasure, stating, “Today I will not say anything because an invitation was given out to me and Bobrisky but he is not here. I don’t see why I will be here and he will not, so I won’t say anything but my lawyer will.”
The probe, chaired by Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, follows serious allegations of corruption within the EFCC and NCS. The panel aims to investigate these claims and ensure accountability among all involved parties.
