Unilorin Screens 16,097 Candidates for Admission

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has successfully conducted its 2024 Post-UTME screening exercise, with a total of 16,097 candidates participating. This was confirmed by the Director of the university’s Computer-Based Centre (CBT), Prof. Kamil Rauf, who attributed the smooth conduct of the exercise to the robust preparations made by the university management.

Speaking with reporters in Ilorin, Prof. Rauf highlighted the technological innovations and quality infrastructure at the CBT as key factors that contributed to the success of the screening. He also mentioned that the centre’s resources have positively impacted various internal examinations within the university, including departmental and remedial exams.

Prof. Rauf was, however, unable to provide specific details on the number of candidates that would be admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session, noting that this decision would be communicated at a later date.
