Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has stepped forward to defend producer Adanma Luke in the wake of criticism following a tragic accident on the set of Luke’s movie, ‘The Other Side of Life,’ where actor Junior Pope and three others lost their lives.
Luke has faced backlash for the incident, with many labeling her as “careless” for allegedly failing to provide life jackets for the cast and crew during the boat trip on the Anam River in Anambra State, where the accident occurred.
In an exchange with fans on her Instagram page, Ogbodo countered the prevailing opinion, asserting that Luke is not “careless” and emphasizing that mistakes can happen even in Hollywood.
Sharing a picture of Luke, Ogbodo captioned it: “The strongest woman, determined, kind, and soft at heart. Neefe, your life is with you. See this one through. God gat you for life.
