Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has responded after being publicly accused of owing a fashion designer a significant debt. The designer, known as @stitchesbyandra, accused Abraham, along with Annie Idibia and Gabriel Anthony, of failing to pay her for over a year.
In an Instagram story, the designer expressed her frustration, saying, “@toyin_abraham @annieidibial @gabrielanthonys, my patience is running out already. 1 year and 2 months. How can you be with someone’s millions and feel so reluctant?”
Toyin Abraham quickly addressed the claim on her own Instagram, clarifying the situation. According to the actress, the accusation stems from a misunderstanding related to dresses used during the production of *Malaika*. Abraham explained that they had borrowed outfits for a runway scene and that she had returned the dresses through a team member. She also noted that she had paid for a separate hairpiece from the designer in full.
“I want to address the recent allegations about an unpaid debt to a fashion designer. The situation has been completely misunderstood,” Abraham stated, emphasizing that the dresses had been returned after the shoot.
