Nollywood actress and media personality Toke Makinwa has declared that she will not adjust her lifestyle despite Nigeria’s ongoing economic challenges.
As the country faces severe economic hardship and some citizens prepare to protest against poor governance, Makinwa made a bold statement in a viral video. She asserted, “I told you, all my friends and loved ones in this season, no matter how tough the economy of the jungle gets, the lion will never eat grass. We are the children of the lion of the tribe of Judah. Do you know what that means? I don’t care what the economy is saying, we don’t settle for less. Do you know who our father is? We get backing.”
Her comments have sparked a mix of reactions amid the widespread economic difficulties affecting many Nigerians.
