Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has revealed his plans to take a break from acting next year. In a recent podcast interview with content creator Kamsi Nnamani, Egbuson shared that he has been continuously working on various sets for the past fourteen years, often with minimal sleep.
Egbuson expressed the need for rest and reflection, stating, “I only rest when I go out at night. I only sleep five hours to six hours a day. And then keep the work going. But next year I’m going on a sabbatical.”
The actor credited his entry into the entertainment industry to his sister, actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, revealing that he initially accompanied her to sets for protection but eventually developed a passion for acting himself.
Egbuson’s decision to take a break reflects a desire for rejuvenation after years of consistent work in the industry.
