Renowned Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has assured fans that he will make a comeback in 2025 despite his ongoing health struggles.
Following an unsuccessful kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, on August 26, 2024, Omori shared updates with his fans in a series of tweets on Monday. The surgery, which involved his only brother as the donor, did not yield the desired outcome.
In his messages, Omori emphasized the significance of mental resilience while battling illness. Alongside a photo of himself, he wrote, “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls. Pain has no power over me. I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!”
Omori’s positive outlook continues to inspire his followers, as he remains determined to overcome his health challenges.
