Taylor Swift Surpasses Ed Sheeran as Spotify’s Most Followed Artist

American pop star Taylor Swift has achieved another significant milestone in her illustrious musical career. She has overtaken British singer Ed Sheeran to become the most followed artist in Spotify’s history. Swift reached 114.6 million followers, breaking Sheeran’s previous record.

In addition to her Spotify achievement, Swift holds the record for the highest-grossing music tour in history. Her ‘Eras’ tour, which grossed over $1 billion, surpassed British legend Elton John’s five-year farewell tour, which generated $939 million (£749 million) over 328 shows.
