This statement sparked controversy on social media.

Following the recent rumor on social media, I want to greet our people and those who love us, especially Pasuma’s supporters and the lovers of Fuji music in general.” He explained that his words had been misinterpreted and extended his regrets to anyone hurt by his remarks.
He further elaborated, “Some individuals have misinterpreted my words as an insult to Pasuma, but I don’t see how anyone can point to anything I said as abusive. He is my boss. Arabanbi, Apesin, Oganla Fuji. We are one, so please don’t separate us.” Taye emphasized his loyalty to Pasuma, stating, “Alhaji Alabi Pasuma is my boss. He knows I’m loyal to him. For it not to seem disrespectful, I apologize to Pasuma. You are an elder.”
