Stuttgart Stun Bayern Munich with 3-1 Victory

In a surprising turn of events, Stuttgart secured a memorable 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich at the MHPArena, marking their first home win against the Bavarian giants since 2007.

The match saw England captain Harry Kane continue his impressive form in the Bundesliga, scoring his 36th goal of the season from the penalty spot after Serge Gnabry was fouled.

Stuttgart took the lead inside half an hour through Leonidas Stergiou’s first Bundesliga goal, but Kane’s equalizer kept Bayern in the game.

However, Stuttgart regained the lead late in the game when Jeong Woo-yeong headed home Silas’ cross, before Silas himself sealed the victory in stoppage time with a brilliant finish.

Despite Bayern’s efforts to counter, Stuttgart controlled much of the possession and pressed relentlessly throughout the match. The loss leaves Bayern just two points ahead of Stuttgart in the Bundesliga table.

Kane’s goal keeps him in contention for the Bundesliga Golden Boot, now just five goals behind Robert Lewandowski’s record of 41 in a single season with two games remaining.
