Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo, known as Solidstar, has announced his engagement to his fiancée, sharing the joyful news on his social media page Tuesday. Displaying a photo of the engagement ring on his partner’s finger, he praised her, writing, “Good woman no dey easy to find.”
This heartwarming announcement follows a turbulent period for the singer. In August 2023, Solidstar was seen looking unkempt and wandering aimlessly on the streets. His brother Joseph revealed that the artist was grappling with drug addiction, which had significantly impacted his life.
In March 2024, Solidstar publicly addressed the situation, stating that he had quit smoking and drinking alcohol, marking a significant step in his recovery.
Solidstar’s musical journey began at the age of 14 as a church drummer in Delta State. His professional career took off after he was discovered at a talent show in Ajegunle, Lagos.
