Nigerian rapper Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has spoken out about his relationship with fellow artist Wizkid, revealing that they were never close friends despite their time together at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
The discussion arose after Skales responded to a comment on X, where a user accused him of turning against Wizkid by befriending his adversaries. Skales dismissed the accusation, stating, “I never ever switched on him. He doesn’t like me. We were never close friends either but EME members. so rest.”
Earlier, Skales had posted about being resilient in the face of betrayal, noting, “You know how many people I have given a platform and when they made it, they switched on me but I am still here and being blessed by God. I’m unstoppable.”
This exchange has sparked interest as it sheds light on the dynamics between the two artists, both of whom rose to fame under the EME record label.
