Popular singer Simisola Kosoko, known as Simi, has opened up about her intense musical “chemistry” with colleague Falz, hinting at a new collaboration between them.
During an appearance on Angela Yee’s podcast, ‘Way Up,’ Simi addressed misconceptions about her relationship with Falz, stating that many people wrongly assumed they were romantically involved.
She also revealed that she and Falz have a new song set to be released later this month.
“I have one more single coming out at the end of this month. I can’t say the title now but I can tell you who I’m featuring on it. It’s Falz!” Simi exclaimed.
Simi reminisced about their past collaborations, particularly their joint EP titled ‘Chemistry’ released before her marriage. She expressed excitement about their upcoming project, describing it as a “funny song” that fans will enjoy.
“This is interesting because Falz and I have a history. Before I got married, we did an EP and everything. People thought we were dating. We had a couple of songs together and people loved them. They were like, ‘You have good chemistry.’ So we decided to do a joint EP and we made an EP called ‘Chemistry.’ People really loved it,” Simi shared.
Simi and Falz previously sparked dating rumors due to their close collaboration, but these rumors faded after Simi married singer Adekunle Gold in 2019. The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.
