Shaboozey’s ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ Breaks Streaming Records, Dominates U.S. Charts

Nigerian-American singer Shaboozey has shattered multiple records in the United States with his chart-topping hit, ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy).’ The track has officially become the most streamed song in the U.S. for 2024, as reported by music monitoring platform, Chart Data.

‘Tipsy’ has overtaken Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ and Benson Boone’s ‘Beautiful Things,’ making it the best-selling song in America this year. Additionally, the song has claimed the title of the longest-running #1 single of 2024 on the Billboard Hot 100, holding the top spot for seven consecutive weeks. This achievement surpasses the previous record set by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s ‘I Had Some Help.’

In July, Shaboozey made history by joining Beyoncé as the only Black artists to simultaneously top both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
