Seyi Law Defends Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa Amid Assault Allegations, Predicts Easy Election Win

Popular Nigerian comedian Oluseyi Aletile, better known as Seyi Law, has defended Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa amid allegations of assault. The allegations surfaced after a viral video showed a man, resembling the governor, in a heated argument with women, with one accusing him of physical assault.

The video has sparked controversy ahead of the Ondo State governorship election scheduled for November 16, 2024. Reacting to the situation, Seyi Law dismissed the video as a plot by the opposition to undermine the governor’s campaign, asserting that Aiyedatiwa has no serious competition in the upcoming election.

In his remarks, Seyi Law warned that legal action against those spreading the video would be viewed as oppression. He further claimed the governor’s victory is inevitable, stating, “For your information, the election in Ondo State is no contest. Before 12 noon, una go don see results, run.”
