Renowned comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has emphasized that he faces no competition from other comedy icons in the industry. Speaking on Hip TV’s *Trending*, Seyi Law explained that veterans like Alibaba, Julius Agwu, Basketmouth, and AY have significantly supported his career, making competition unnecessary.
“As a Yoruba person, we don’t disrespect anybody who has given us food,” Seyi Law stated, underscoring his gratitude toward these figures. He added, “They are all highly respected… no matter the differences they have, they’re still my senior colleagues in the business.”
He expressed indifference toward rankings within the comedy scene, noting, “I don’t want to be one of those people who is dragging ranking with anybody in the industry. The most important thing is that we must not allow the industry to suffer.”
Seyi Law further revealed that he has worked closely with many of these legends, including covering events for Basketmouth and participating in a comedy tour with Julius Agwu.
