Nigerian musician Seun Kuti has expressed his disappointment over not being invited to the highly publicized wedding of Afrobeats star Davido.
Speaking in a recent interview on the show *Curiosity Made Me Ask*, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Kuti recalled his frustration after being excluded from the guest list for Davido’s wedding to Chioma, which took place on June 25, 2024.
Kuti, the son of legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, shared that the snub left him deeply hurt, particularly considering his past interactions with Davido and his team at the famous African Shrine.
“Davido would come to the African Shrine with 100 guys, and he would drink without paying, but when it was time for his wedding, I didn’t get IV. I was pained, I didn’t sleep for one week,” Kuti revealed.
Davido’s wedding was a star-studded event attended by dignitaries from various sectors, further intensifying Kuti’s sense of exclusion.
