Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Endorses PDP Candidate Asue Ighodalo for Edo Governorship Election

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) has called on Edo residents to rally behind the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo, and his running mate, Omorodion Ogie, in the upcoming election on September 21. Speaking at rallies held in Igarra, Lampese, and Ibillo, Akpoti-Uduaghan urged the Ebira people and other communities in Akoko-Edo to support PDP, emphasizing that this would ensure continued access to the dividends of democracy in the state.

“I care about you and trust you’ll make the right choice on Saturday the 21st day of September 2024; Vote PDP,” she stated.

Ighodalo, widely regarded for his commitment to Edo’s development, has a proven record in both the private and public sectors. His background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, positioning him as a leader with strong economic expertise. As a key member of the state’s economic team, Ighodalo has contributed significantly to employment creation and policy-making aimed at fostering growth in Edo.
