Rudeboy Questions Rift with Brothers Amid P-Square Dispute

Famous Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has expressed frustration over the ongoing rift between him and his brothers, Peter Okoye and Jude Okoye. The tension within the P-Square music group has been a subject of public interest, with accusations and counter-accusations circulating between the siblings.

The crisis escalated when Paul accused his twin brother Peter of petitioning the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate him. Peter, however, denied these allegations, stating that his focus was on uncovering the truth behind a secret company, Northside Music, allegedly owned by their elder brother, Jude Okoye, and his wife, Ifeoma.

In response, Jude took to Instagram to deny accusations from Peter that he had diverted P-Square’s royalties into a private account.

During an Instagram live session on Monday, August 19, 2024, Rudeboy expressed his dismay over the family discord, questioning why they couldn’t maintain their brotherly relationship despite their business differences.

“Even if we don’t do P-Square, can’t we be brothers? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers?” Rudeboy asked. “Like I said, I don’t want to talk much. I don’t used to talk before. It’s so unfortunate.”
