Rose May Alaba Advocates for Increased Collaboration Among Female Artists

Austrian-Nigerian singer Rose May Alaba has urged for greater collaboration among female artists, highlighting the imbalance in collaborations between male and female musicians.

During a recent appearance on the Hip TV program, Trending, Alaba emphasized the importance of female artists supporting each other and working together more frequently.

Alaba remarked, “Female artists should support each other way more. We always have collaborations with men but what about collaborating with each other? Collaborating with each other would even help us more.”

Acknowledging the challenges faced by female artists in gaining recognition, Alaba encouraged her peers to embrace collaboration as a means to amplify their voices and impact.

She further commented, “Personally, I think men collaborate more because they are more open than women. We should try and change that by complementing each other.”
