Roma Secures Europa League Semifinal Berth with Convincing Victory Over AC Milan

Roma triumphed over Serie A counterparts AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico, securing a spot in the Europa League semi-finals with a commanding performance.

Gianluca Mancini ignited Roma’s charge with an early goal in the 12th minute, capitalizing on a rebound from Lorenzo Pellegrini’s shot to put the hosts ahead. Ten minutes later, Paulo Dybala extended Roma’s lead with a spectacular strike, sealing a 3-1 aggregate win for Daniele de Rossi’s side.

However, Roma’s momentum was disrupted as Mehmet Zeki Celik received a red card for a reckless challenge on Rafael Leao, reducing them to 10 men.

Despite Milan’s late consolation goal from Matteo Gabbia, Roma held firm to secure their place in the semi-finals.

The return of England international Tammy Abraham, recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, provided a boost for Roma as he replaced the injured Romelu Lukaku.

With their victory, Roma sets up a thrilling clash against Bayer Leverkusen in the semi-finals, following Leverkusen’s triumph over West Ham in the previous round.
