Rivers State Governor Reassures Residents, Receives Support from Family Group

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has sought to allay the concerns of the state’s residents, assuring them of his administration’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

Addressing members of the Family Support Group during a solidarity visit to the Government House in Port Harcourt, Fubara reiterated his determination to uphold the collective aspirations of the people and serve out his tenure.

The Family Support Group comprises Rivers youths, women, and men from all senatorial districts and local government areas, united in protecting and promoting the state’s interests. Fubara, represented by the state Head of the Civil Service, Dr. George Nwaeke, emphasized that his government is dedicated to youths, women, men, and all Nigerians desiring the state’s progress.

He assured them of his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance and quality services across all sectors, expressing gratitude for their support and dedication to defending their votes.

Fubara highlighted key infrastructure projects, including the Port Harcourt Ring Road, the Trans-Kalabari Road, and the Elele-Egbeda-Omoku Road, showcasing his administration’s proactive approach to development.

He reiterated his administration’s pro-youth and pro-human stance, pledging to maintain empathy and inclusivity in governance to provide relief to the people.

In response, the President General of the Family Support Group, Mr. Henry Abraham, reaffirmed their commitment to defending their votes and supporting Governor Fubara. He emphasized the collective ownership of Rivers State by its residents and pledged the group’s unwavering support.
