American rapper Rick Ross has hailed Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy as the best African artist of all time during a recent Instagram live session with South African rapper Nasty C. Ross, without hesitation, named Burna Boy as his number one pick among top African artists.
In the live session, Ross stated, “Top three African artists of all time. If you are calling names, for me, I would say Burna Boy.” Nasty C, who joined the conversation, concurred with Ross’s choice, expressing that he also believes Burna Boy holds the top spot.
Ross continued to reveal his rankings, placing Senegalese-American singer Akon in the second position on the list of the greatest African artists of all time, following Burna Boy. Nasty C added his input, suggesting that the late South African rapper AKA should be ranked third.
This declaration by Rick Ross further solidifies Burna Boy’s global recognition and influence, showcasing his impact not only within the African music scene but also on an international scale. As artists from different parts of the world continue to acknowledge Burna Boy’s talent, it emphasizes his position as a prominent figure in the music industry.
