Former Warri Federal Constituency lawmaker, Daniel Reyenieju, has called for the restructuring of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), emphasizing the need for transparency, efficiency, and accountability within the organization. Reyenieju praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bold leadership and efforts to reshape the nation’s future, urging for continued reforms in NNPCL.
Reyenieju stressed the importance of seizing the opportunity presented by Nigeria’s abundant oil and gas resources. He noted that while the challenges are significant, they are not insurmountable with visionary leadership and decisive action. “We must demand more from our leadership and advocate for a thorough and deep restructuring of the NNPCL, transforming it into a model of excellence that can drive national growth and prosperity,” he said.
He urged all stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and citizens, to support the transformative agenda to ensure a prosperous future for Nigeria.
