Real Madrid Edges Closer to La Liga Title with Victory over Cadiz

In a crucial match that could determine the fate of the La Liga title race, Real Madrid secured a vital victory over Cadiz, moving them one step closer to clinching the championship.

Former Manchester City winger Brahim Diaz stole the show with a stunning goal, firing a sublime strike into the top corner from just inside the box in the 51st minute, giving Real Madrid the breakthrough they needed.

Diaz continued to be influential as he provided the assist for Jude Bellingham’s goal, with the English midfielder scoring just three minutes after coming off the bench. Bellingham capitalized on Diaz’s cutback, ghosting into the box to poke home from close range, doubling Real’s lead.

The victory was sealed in added time when Joselu scored a tap-in after Nacho raced through into the box and squared the ball for his teammate to finish with ease.

Notably, goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois made his return to the side for his first match of the season following a nine-month injury layoff due to a knee ligament injury.

With just four league matches remaining, Real Madrid now needs only one more point to secure the La Liga title. However, if Barcelona fails to win against Girona later in the day, Real Madrid will be crowned champions for the 36th time.

The focus now shifts to next Wednesday’s crucial Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich, with the tie finely poised.
