President Tinubu Mourns the Loss of Ohanaeze President-General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the family of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 82. The President’s message was conveyed through a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

The Iwuanyanwu family confirmed his passing, stating, “Chief Iwuanyanwu died on Thursday, July 25, 2024, after a brief illness.”

In his condolence message, President Tinubu said, “President Tinubu condoles with the Imo State Government, the friends and associates of the deceased, and Ndi Igbo over this irreparable loss. The President affirms that Chief Iwuanyanwu will always be remembered for his remarkable legacy.”

Chief Iwuanyanwu was not only a significant political figure but also an accomplished businessman. Tinubu prayed for the repose of Iwuanyanwu’s soul and for comfort for his family during this difficult time.
