President Bola Tinubu Appoints Heads of Two Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Innocent Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency and Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority. The Presidency announced these appointments in a statement signed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, titled ‘President Tinubu appoints chief executive officers of two agencies.’

Dr. Barikor, an academic, politician, and former member of the Rivers State House of Assembly (2011-2015), succeeds Prof. Aliyu Jauro. Meanwhile, Amgbare, a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State, takes over from Dr. Adeniyi Aremu.

President Tinubu expressed his expectations for the new heads of these agencies, urging them to discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria.
