In a recent development, controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has extended a plea to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), urging forgiveness if there exists any evidence of him mishandling the Naira.
Portable clarified that his intention was never to deface the Naira but rather to assist the masses by spraying money. Addressing his stance during an Instagram live session, he emphasized his respect for constituted authority, acknowledging the importance of governmental institutions.
He stated, “After God, it’s the government. I’m not defacing the Naira. I only assist a lot of people. If you see me spraying money, please forgive me.”
